Picard, in my opinion, a locked one-way should not be used just to get more brakes alone.
I prefer to look at the track layout first: if its highly technical with a lot of last minute braking required then I don't have a choice but use a solid front (at least until the front diff becomes available anyway). If the thrack is a combo of sweeping corners as well as braking then I'll most likely use either depending on my driving confidence on the day.
On some configuration, a solid front can give a tremendous out-corner on-power advantage apart from braking. This though you need to balance with tyre wear, fuel economy and available grip.
Given the chance I prefer to race with a front one-way and solid rear though!

Thanks for the reply, i will try the locked front oneway, as well as the normal oneway, there are only 2 points on the track where I require brakes so the locked oneway will probably benifit me i hope

For small technical tracks where you need to slow down and turn in, the solid front would be excellent.

how can i get another copy, anyone?
