Serpent 710

Not at first - I want to try and modify my driving style a little. I've been driving my EVO III Surikarn the whole winter with a one-way and found that I was quicker with it. I think it is simply a case of adapting your driving style to a one-way - less hard brake hitting and more smooth flowing lines.
That's the theory, at least

Nice car! Any tips or anything that you think I need to pay extra attention to when I get my 710 this week?

Very nice!
Basically just the things which are mentioned in the FAQ (small items; nothing major)

Really, though, the car goes together so well, you shouldn't have any problems - it's a dream to put together!!
Cheers, Mark.

Oh yeah, try and get the lubes and oils mentioned in the FAQ (at the begining) and apply them where recommended - it makes a big difference and allows the car to work better and smoother.

As a current driver of MTX3,Evo and recently G4 I'd to get the much hype 710.From the box the 710 has massive understeer for my liking. After much fiddling I manage to set the car near to my driving style and starting to like it.But the biggest drawback of the car is its durability. In three weeks I've replaced 3 rear lower arms,3 shock shafts, front belt,2 spurs,3 pinions, front knuckle and 2 sets dogbones.Never have I replaced parts for my other cars this much in 3 months let alone 3 weeks.Any ways to bulletproof this cars is very much appreciated especially shock shafts. Thanks

Going back to an older topic. The rear link arm or whatever you guys call that plastic rod link that goes to the rear knuckle. You guys say that it pulls the threads out with the stock pillowballs because the threads on the stock pillowballs aren't long enough, correct? And buy buying the steel pillowballs for the Impulse this will remedy the thread stripping problem right? Let me know as I'm getting to order my spare parts!!!
