Airplane Pilot’s Are Welcome, But Can You Drive?

image3Greetings! I would like to start out by introducing myself as a PLANE GUY! I have been a sponsored Team Pilot for many different companies including FMS, Precision Areobatics, West Michigan Park Flyers,SIG, and more. I fly planes, that’s what I do. Not a single day goes by that I do not fly something.

So why am I on R/C Tech? I have been driving rc cars for a long time and used to race “Old School” RC-10’s as a kid growing up in rural Indiana. I also currently own and drive a Traxxas Slash 4×4, a Tamiya Avanti, and a Losi Mini 1/14 Scale Stadium Truck.

I’m on R/C Tech because I have decided to document my attempt to get into, and be competitive, in a local club racing circuit. I will be documenting my transition from a plane guy who runs my cars in the yard, and occasionally at the airfield, to a club level RC Car Driver! (Hopefully a decent one)

I will be sharing my practice, repairs, and transition into the racing world. I will also be welcoming help and advice from our avid readers to help me along the way, because quite frankly I can use all the help I can get!

So sit down, buckle up, and enjoy my fun, exciting, and I’m sure comical at times, journey into racing.
