Yes and No. The car rolls around that pivot, but it's not the rollcenter. If you raise the front pivotballs of the Links/T-Bar you will lower the rollcenter.

Steel balls are a lot cheaper (maybe 10x). You can get 100pcs for about 10 bucks an don't have too worry, when you lose an expensive ceramic ball during rebuild.

I used to race Hitec Servos (HS-225 and HS81MG) in my 12th cars. They work well, but you cant compare them to good 12th servos (like Futaba,...) But maybe you have drill new holes in the chassis...
