WGT3 will be here tomorrow, body may too. Too late to get it on the track this weekend, but who knows. I might miss some more sleep after work Friday night to get it together.
Cool looking body, but that long overhang on the front, isn't going to do you any favours on an indoor circuit

You will look Boss though

I got the WGT3 today. I got it put together between heats of F1. Unfortunately I had to leave right after I finished the build. Not much to build, most of the components were already together (friggin awesome!) IE: rear pod, chassis, that thingy where the side springs are(sorry its late). All that was left was to assemble it, build the diff, shock and front end. Easy peezy lemon squeezy. Hopefully I will have it on the track next Saturday for some testing. It looks good. We already have about 8 of us with WGT 's. Cant wait.

I did happen to see one of the Ferrari bodies like I ordered. Man they are big. LOL, might fit a Slash in a pinch! Buddy of mine gave me a painted but unused Protoform DB9. So I have that to use as well when my Fioranos arrive. I got all the hardware installed tonight, not top of the line stuff but enough to get me going as I upgrade. All that's left to do that I can think of is get my ride heights set and a starting setup.

Got a question, bumpers. Will the CRC bumper work on the WGT3? I didn't see any bumpers listed on the Speedmerchant site. I'm gonna need one. Thanks for all the tips.

Bumpers are a new prototype item. You can email Bruce to see about getting one. The car is fine with no bumper. The body will take a small to medium impact. Without hurting the car. The new bumpers were designed "from what I hear" is to gain more steering. I have seen the CEFX bumpers modded up to fit if Bruce doesnt have any.

How do they help gain steering?

I suspect the idea is that the body mounts are further outboard towards the front of the body, thus the downforce from the body is directed thru the chassis w/ a greater lever arm.... thus the same amount of downforce results in more force being directed thru the front suspension.

Seems to be a bit esoteric . There are much better ways to get more steering.

I was the one that started modding CEFX bumpers to run on my car. Th main reason was more support on the body... The side effect was more front downforce...

Got the WGT3 on the carpet yesterday. Straight from box to the track its very good. Only ran 2 packs thru it between rounds of the race schedule so I didn't do much adjusting. Matter of fact, the only adjustment I have made was lengthening the shock shaft a couple of turns. I should have it dialed in next time out. But it seems very close already. Great car! Ran with a DB9 body and the Ferrari. Ferrari actually not an issue it seems. Just looks like a big monster chasing little cars around the track. Like it should
