Yes, all SCT 4x4 I see....all run boost = STOCK1.
Mod software is more for 2WD and 4WD buggy as adding BOOST on them will not make it better to drive....not unless you have a track that is like a size of a NFL football field. Mod software only gives you static timing...a static curve increase of timing...STOCK1 will give you the shifting, dynamic and custom setting of the timing increase plus the BOOST (Turbo when it is WOT).
You will not see much of a different IF your track is small....but once it is bigger, the different is more obvious.

Solara: So what is the issue I would run into trying to use the Reventon Pro with a 4 Pole motor? Does it run inconsistently, not at all, etc?
I am curious to see how much more punch the blaze 2 Pole has than what we are seeing for 4 pole motors. How large is the rotor on it?

Well I just tried to call support and I got their answering machine. I was able to find my receipt and I purchased my combo back in march of '09. Is it worth trying to see if I could get an updated combo or just pitch it?
Thanks

The motor and programming box are probably worth something either way. Probably could get 70 to 80 out of those two items at least. Better than pitching. Surely someone with an over priced Orion speedo would want the programmer for 20 bucks vs paying 80 for the Orion box. lol same thing.

I would rather not just throw it away but I have no idea what it's worth. I have no use for it and would rather get a few bucks for it. I'm going to try to call SP tomorrow and see where I get. Thanks guys..

I'm new to the Speed Passion ESC and I have a LPF 2.0 GT in my losi 22 with an orion vst 17.5t motor. Tonight was the first night I've run it so I was rather impressed the first few laps then all of a sudden it started running at about 1/2 power. Took it off the track and checked things and pulled the throttle and it seemed to run fine. Did a couple more laps and it went into limp mode again.
Battery pack was charged but I tried a different one to make sure and it did the same thing with that pack. The batteries are GenAce 30C 4000 mah 7.4V.
I have a programming card on the way and was wondering if there is a setting that needs to be adjusted. I got the speed control used and all I could do is program it to my throttle.
Please help?
