With other speed controls that I've seen when a motor goes into temp cut off it shuts down power to the motor and stays on with a series of blinking light and you still have power to the servo. His cuts completely off. To me that's not a motor temp issue. I could be wrong as I don't run Speedpassion products.

From the SP website:
"Notice for Speedpassion Reventon Pro users using Viper motors:
It has come to the attention of Speed Passion that there has been compatibility issues for Revention Pro users using Viper motors. The cause of this issue is the temperature sensor unit within Viper motors. In order to use Viper motors with the Reventon Pro in sensored mode, disconnect or cut the temperature sensor wire. As viewed from the endbell of the motor, this wire is the second wire from the left on the sensor connector. Please see the figure below for further details."

I know you're using a Tekin, but the Gen2 motors may have the same issue as the Viper. Worth a shot maybe.
That is one of the things I am going test.

I haven't had any troubles yet.
Hope this is nothing serious or recurring as I just ordered a wheeler and picked up another Reventon Pro for it... but this time I went with a SP Comp 3.0 8.5 motor for it (couldn't pass on the price).
Mine doesnt do it all the time sometimes it will go 7-8 packs before it does it again.

Guys, I bought a wifi module from Etamiya and it looked used...

I plugged it in did everything I needed to do and I get a continuous red light. It's supposed to go away? Anybody else have this issue? I'm almost certain this is a defective unit. I'm sure a customer returned it and I got it sent to me... Not impressed. Does the red light actually mean it's toast!

Manual says once the connection is made the light goes out.

I read the manual... Looks like I'll have to buy another one.

This might be a dumb question, but how long is the cable that connects the ESC to the receiver?

I'm exploring a new chassis and the configuration is such that the ESC and REC could be side by side, instead of opposite sides like my B4 and other chassis'. Wondering if I can simply purchase a very short ESC-Rec cable.
(Does that cable have an official name exactly?)
