I'm excited to hear of a new 8th scale ESC. For my 8e (soon to be 8.2) and I plan to make it more of the Racer.

glad the sa2 were back instock heluva speed control! the sa2 was my first speedpassion prdouct and plan to make more purchases as the need arises. awesome smoothness now all we need are some 1/8 motors to go along with it. 1900kv range would be nice and maybe a low kv motor 1300-1400

We do say motor limit to 9.5 is simply a liability issue. Our products are design beyond what we said it can be done....
Reventon R....me too are waiting and I hope it will be here soon.

I just picked up a GT2.0 and went to the SP website - what's with the "Product Registration" hyperlink in the middle of every freaking page?
I couldn't download the manual because the hyperlink was always in the way of the icon I needed, "prompting" me to register - so I did - but it's still there!
What gives?

I will have that issue report back to the web designer and see what he can do.....I am looking at it on my cell phone now and I totally understand your problem.

I got a silver arrow and I been using the hobbywing program card with it and it works fine. but my question is does the actual Speed Passion card provide different tuning options? I am hooked on this Speed Passion stuff. its so smooth and very durable and all their stuff looks top notch and I can't believe the price. you got a customer for life here!
You download the latest firmware here...under Driver, Speed Passion USB Interface software V1.38 and software. It is within the GT2 ESC firmware.

I have a HW digi box (2 actually) and wondered the same thing. I haven't found a clear answer yet. I haven't figured out how to "format" the box and install the SP software, but ran into problems. I kinda gave up, but I think I'll be ordering the Reventon R and a Silver arrow ESC for my 8th scale.

BTW...unless you are running more then 2 cells for 4WD SCT....you should get the Gt2 PRO for SCT 4x4 instead.
