I got my Silver Arrow V2 installed and I went looking through the manual and I noticed that the warranty card says that if you do not send it in within 30 days, you lose the rest of your warranty (90 days total?)
Also, Where exactly do you send in the card? there is nothing on the card I am seeing that says where to send it to?
lastly, what is the most current software version to use on the ESC? Mine has: V1.00_111207a_2R

That is the latest software for the SAII ESC.

It is better to have HOBBYWING to provide their support for their products. To answer your question as general....the ESC should work on both type of motors but about racing it, it is always better to run it in sensored mode then sensorless mode. And that is for RACING point of view. If you are not asking for the best performance, it will definitely work....just not the best output with sensorless setup. That is typical for all ESC when running sensored vs sensorless.

Curious, I see that the software when plugging it into my computer will let you select 2S and 3S? Can this ESC be used on 2S or 3S?
Only thing I really wish was different (and no its not the size lol, BIG ESC) is that the plug feature found on the GT2.0 series for various wires is NOT on the Silver Arrow V2. Reall wish you guys had kept going with that as it was a nice feature to run the wires the length you needed.
By the way, that ring around the wire going to the receiver, do you have to use that?

Thanks. ESC feels great, make lots of low end power in comparison to the MMP I was using before. Excellent for the price.

When new ESC for 1/8th comes out, it will have the plug in receiver wire connection and on board on/off switch...
That green ring is for the radio interference protection...when running 4S, it helps to stable the power to get interference to the radio signal, don't remove that. You can get the wire shorter by using zip ties but leave that ring onto the receiver wires...

3S is the minimum that you should use, 4S is the best...we have tried to use it on 2S but it is not stable. Using Gt2 PRO on 2S is still the best.

Any prelim stuff on this new 1/8 ESC? will it be smaller than the current model?
It would be great if you guys made one that was robust enough for 6S usage. Could then even put a speed passion unit in my 1/5 savage conversion like the Super Flux 5SC uses.

Having a ESC to handle 6 cells is easy....having it SMALL and LAST is the problem. We have tested 6 cells by some local bashing driver and it last about 2-3 runs and it turns in to a fire-ball....and I have seen other brands doing the same. The only unit that it was still working is our 8 cells prototype unit which is the size of a tamiya mini-cooper. That is for sure will work...if size does not matter.

I just picked up a GT2.0 and went to the SP website - what's with the "Product Registration" hyperlink in the middle of every freaking page?
I couldn't download the manual because the hyperlink was always in the way of the icon I needed, "prompting" me to register - so I did - but it's still there!
What gives?

I got a silver arrow and I been using the hobbywing program card with it and it works fine. but my question is does the actual Speed Passion card provide different tuning options? I am hooked on this Speed Passion stuff. its so smooth and very durable and all their stuff looks top notch and I can't believe the price. you got a customer for life here!
