If you track down all my thread....if customer asked me what ESC to run for 4x4 MOD...my answer is GT2 PRO...

GT2.1 can run with mod motor...5.5T limit. However, it is pushing it. It will never performs as good as the PRO. There is a reason we made these 2 ESC because they are different.

Did you use a fan the GT2.1..? Also, what software are you running on the GT2.1? You are SO NOT going to run boost on that 4 pole motor with your Gt2.1, it will not work....not got a CONCRETE BLOCK RC CAR like the Losi SCTE.

I have about 5-6 dealer asked me the same question about the compatability of the new wireless ESC system with their flip phone. One of the dealer is still using a Motorola STAR-TAK phone.............

I told him he can use the phone to place a order for the new smart phone. That kinda work...LOL

Nope...each new REVENTON ESC has its own ID number...about 16 digit long. When you turned on the wifi/bluetooth...your specific ID'ed REVENTON is the only ESC that will be connected to your phone.

Beside, you have to have the wife/bluetooth unit plugged in and turned on in order to get them connected wireless..........if that unit is not on the car or turned on, there will be no connection from anyone or anywhere.

My SP arsenal is: 2.0 LPF B44, 2.1Carbon 22, and 2.0P waiting for the 22T.

Unsure of Software, I had zero boost in during the test phase, and no I did not run a fan...I think I will use the suggested rx8 and just run my speed passion in my 2WD SCT(which is what I ran this weekend..also if I wanted to run boost etc. which programing card do I need? the one I have does allow timing but it doesn't allow me to custom set timing kick in etc.!

You should be using a 2.0 pro in any SCT 4x4. I'm running a 2.0 with a 550, and 540 4 pole motors in all power profiles.

I also run the GT2.0 Pro ESC with both 550 cans both 4.5T and 5.5T in my Team Durango DESC410r and one of the other guys on the speed passion team Walt runs the same ESC with a 5.5T 550 can in his Losi Ten-SCTE which we all know is pretty heavy.

We've found that buy gearing down a bit and bumping the timing that we end up with smoother higher revving motors and far less issues with heat. I believe Walt is running a 13t pinion on his losi when other guys are running 16-17t pinions with similar 5.5t 550 cans using 1/8th scale esc's.

And even when running boosted 2wd short course gearing down and adding timing seems to make the car easier to drive out of the corner (less wheel spin) but also gives it a top end that feels like an 10.5.

i am in the market 4 sum new lipo's.i have a ? about the lipo's that speed passion sells.
1.how well do they hold up?
2.do they balance well?
3.how well do they work in a losi scte with a rx8 and 5.5t tekin motor?
4.how well do they work in a traxxas slash 2wd with a castle 3800 motor?
5.how long does it take to get them once the order is placed from the usa?
