Dave,
I asked this question and was told to use this :

Many of our top drivers use the stock capacitor. If you want something better you can purchase the optional capacitor. It offers better overall performance in terms of running cooler, brakes, and other ESC functions.

Yes, it's on the esc between the RX and FAN Plugs, doubles as a Setup Button !!

Only problem I have now is the first time I went to use the Reventon Pro , I plugged the battery in about ten minutes before the race, and it fried just sitting there on the bench.??? It actually burned the positive terminal right off the circuit board for no apparent reason. I guess i will find out how thier warranty service is now. It went through the Calibration process and bench testing just fine so I don't know what happened. Anyone else have this problem.

OK....I think the newer generation motor do have motor temperature sensor built in, and we are working on having the REVENTON PRO to read the motor temp without cutting that wire. We will get that update...

(1) Just make sure SANWA radio MIGHT need to reverse the throttle...it MIGHT, I am not 100% sure...not all SANWA radio are design the same. I have fixed customer with different SANWA radio and some need to reverse the throttle some does not...depends on which model you have. And I do not have M11X to test so I am not sure. It will be one way or the other...easy enough.

(2) If thunderpower motor has temperature sensor built in...cut the 2nd wire on the sensor cable and that will stop the unexpected shut off issue.

(3) I too use Savox servo....if things get out of hand, get a glitch buster. So far, I have 3 cars using the SAVOX servo and REVENTON PRO and none of them need the glitch buster (I am using Futaba 3PKS)

Again...DO NOT connect the LCD card, with computer and ESC with LIPO batteries, unless you want to have a new ESC and new computer. It stated on the manual.

Now...the latest V21 software (on the website) should able to UNBRICK all the bricked ESC. Please uninstall the old version, and do a clean install...restart Window and give that a try.

From your video, I am sure you are not even in the setup mode...when you are holding that little round button and turn the on ESC, you must keep holding that round button while the ESC is ON....you hold that button until you hear the BEEP coming out from the TEKIN motor.

My guess is you are not holding the button long enough to get into the setup mode....give it a try.

Solara, can you comment on this?

The 2nd generation motor does have a temp sensor that was confirmed by Randy Pike from tekin. I will go ahead and run it with the wire pulled until that update comes out.
