going to be running a V3.0 Competition 8.5T motor in a 2wd buggy, DEX210 on indoor carpet, using a speed passion GT2.0 Pro it appears.

wanted to know what ESC software I should go with for this motor? people using the 428 stock on this too or a specific mod software?

Granted mine is in a short course truck but I am using the 428 mod I believe it is but with no boost. I am very happy with it.

thanks. So basically no boost in the mod but you still have the turbo options in the 428 mod? May have to give that a look on my SCT 4x4 as I use the 428 Stock but turn off boost, just use turbo for top end.

you might try 205 mod....then if you need more then go the 428mod route

ive got the 205mod in my 22 and just change timing on the speed controller to give more or less power

I was using the 205 first and melted a motor and had other problems. Using the 428 I have had better results. Lol

In Aus you don't pay any import tax unless the item is over $1000.

I think I know what is going on.. I'm guessing that if you order from the Aus website, the Aus warehouse (Which is a hobby store in Melbourne) gets money from the main distributor for taking the order.. I'm guessing this as the paypal address is the same for ordering from Aus or the US..

Fellas..having issues with PC interface. Got the Reventon Pro installed, but cant get it to link with PC or update the LCD card. I installed latest 17 software to laptop. Installed drivers and inerface. I can get LCD to go into firmwre update mode by holding reset and plug into pc. Pull up interface and no button for "firmware update" button. I can't get speedo to link either. The lights red & orange leds come on, but nothing. I tried diff usb cords..nothing. Tried several install/uninstall. I have Windows 7..even tried to run as administrator. LCD works fiine by itself and on speedo. It says version 2.0 with 16 mod1 on speedo.

Try right clicking on the Reventon program on your desktop and check the compatibility. You may have to switch it to Windows XP compatibility mode. Worth a shot.

Hi guys, couple of quick Reventon Pro questions:

1. Is the software Mac compatible or will it only work through apple products once the wifi module is available?

2. Will the wifi/iPad route enable firmware updates to the esc?

3. Is it possible to run the pro in "blinky" mode?

4. Does the pro work on 1S?

Oh, and a silver arrow query, is it possible to get replacement fans, and does anyone have a recommended fan guard? I've already lost a blade!

I'll try that. You can "here it connect" when I plug the LCD card to laptop, but nothing pops up on Reventon interface.

I have to double check, but I believe the Silver Arrow uses this fan...

Well tried it again with no victory. Tried diff compatabilities. Ran as admin. I do notice that after I d/l driver 6.6 that I don't get that window pop up like in the video after the video says next..

Anyone out there running this on Windows 7?

LCD card works fine w/speedo.

I can hear the usb plug into card.

I'm stumped.
