The ESC's are unbeatable!!! Hoping the Motors catch up soon. I have 2 VTX8's and 4 VTX10's and 2 VTX1... Knock on wood they are great.

The only thing I could ask for till the VF4 comes out is can someone send me some setting to run on a medium track for a VTX8 paired to a Viper 4.5... If you can just list some setting for 2S lipo off the pro gauge that I should be running too make sure I'm set right.

I would suggest 6.4V from what I am seeing works well. When I tried my usual 6.8V that i use on another brand ESC, it stuttered based on the power delivery I am assuming was tripping the lvc. the VTX8 will send all it can, and I wasn't using crappy lipos either, 7200mah 80C IPs from promatch.

I thought mine died too but then I hooked up a freshly charged battery and realized it was hitting the lvc.

Generally as a rule of thumb we say 7-10 data from when we receive it to you get it back. Normally we can beat that, what day it comes in, what's wrong. How busy we are and inventory can all effect the time. Sometimes the length of time to get to us makes a difference as well.

I am looking at the VTX/VST combos and have a quick question. Does the esc come with the wires soldered on, and if not are the wires supplied with the combo?

Yes, the ESC's come pre soldered with about 9" or so of wire.

Ran my VTX8 for the first time yesterday. This is a nice piece of equipment. The ease of programming is something I would expect to start seeing from every manufacturer. Any recent redesigns that don't incorporate it are missing the boat. The case design is stout and looks great. No depending on stickers and plastic to hold it together.

yeah, I was very impressed when I first took out of my VTX8s from the box at the feel of quality I had in my hands. The customer service I have received as well as the performance has been top notch as well.

WooHoo - Well my 4th Viper ESC and Motor combo just arrived. Added a Copperhead-R and VX4R.45 combo to the family to put in a SCTE 1.0 for my son to bash with.

Never used a Copperhead before, anything I need to know about this combo?
