Technically I am sure some kind of fuse type thing could be made. But then you are adding weight, making thinks bigger.
Maybe it takes away from performance - don't know.
Maybe we need better motors-- I think I know someone coming out with some!!!

I am game to try them
Have you compared the 540 4 pole motors you are coming out with to the current 550 4 pole motors in 4x4 sct?
Any new plans to look at making some 550 4 pole race level motors like what Tekin and Hobbywing offer?

I purchase a viper 4600 kv 550 motor used. person I got it from said he liked it but it was noisy. So i bought new bearings and installed them. Didn't fix the problem at all. This thing is loud it seems to have a lot of power but the noise never goes away no matter where i'm at in the throttle. So at this point i'm scratching my head trying to figure out whats wrong. any ideas anyone?

lol, I like the quiet the electrics give ... Let the nitro guys practice sign language from the drivers stand as well as wind sprints when their vehicle flames out without a pitman.

Cain - just trying to make it realistic!!!
Actually, it was a funny accident, but what we planned, but when we got the first test sample, it seemed cool and we didn't worry about it. The new VF4 sensored motors will be much quieter.

I am thinking of picking up a vtx8 over a tekin rx8 gen2 for my eb48.2. I know it is going to be a tight fit in the buggy.
However, I have always run tekin in my 8th scales. How will the vtx8 compare to a tekin as far as feel. it will be used with a tekin 1900 gen 1 motor.
