lol, out here you usually down size the house, upgrade to a sports car and hair plugs when you get the "newer model" from what I have seen

Nope, you committed to her for life. I'd rather trade my poor depth perception or lousy reflexes.

Trade in programs are nice, but if they could actually repair a small fault for maybe $40 instead of $120 (VTX8) for a trade in that would be handier.

With today's integrated circuits nothing is a simple repair anymore.

What a great week!! We didn't have the best luck in the 4wd Worlds finals, but we did put 2 cars in the show.

Amazing how fast it changes from, it's just great being here. To- we should do better than that!! Look for more info in the coming days.

Sorry if this has already been covered. Is there an ETA for the VF8 motors yet? I'm gonna have to buy a motor very soon and I would really rather have a Viper.

On my back from the Worlds. I will try and get an update from the factory and report back when I am in the office tomorrow.

VF motors are going to be 1900kv, 2100kv, 2700kv to start. I know the 1900 has done very well in some truggy races in the Midwest.

Ok looking to put together something for my son to bash with. Will the Copperhead ESC with the 3900kv motor be a good match for a TEN-SCTE? Again this will pretty much be for backyard bashing only.

Edit: Rewind...check that, I just saw that the 3900 is 540 and the others are 550...I'm guessing I want a 550 for the SCTE. SO would the Copperhead R and VX4R.45 be a good choice?

Yes. Great combo for the SCTE and will be competitive at many club level races even though it is not designed as a pro racing motor/esc.

Ive been running the VX4R.45 combo in my SSC Slash for over a year, it has been stone reliable and quick to boot. Can't go wrong with it.
