Do you mean the 17011 (steel) or 17012 (ceramic) The are both the best in the business and have put the 17011 in other manuafactures blocks when a suspected bearing problem came up. I pulled the bearing that came in my plus 4 at 2 gallons and installed a 17011.

Am i the only one having problem mounting my nova engine on the losi 8ight quick engine mount? All my other engines mount right with no problem. When i try to put the engine on the buggy mount, one side is up and the other side mounts right. Any help will be appreciated.

Chamfer (grind a relief angle) on the inboard side of each mount

Did you separate the 2 peices that mount to the engine from the 1 piece that mounts to the chassis? When you attach the 2 pieces to the engine, make sure you can see the Arrow pointing forward on both pieces, and do not tighten them down to you attached it the the 1 bottom piece that attaches to the chassis, once you have the.engine sitting in position on top of CHASSIS piece, make sure you have the guide pins lined up to so the mounts are flat on both sides, now you can tighten up the Screws from.engine pieces, to the chassis piece, then set your great mesh, tighten down the bottom screws and your ready for go, after you have all the the other stuff hooked up, fuel and pressure lines and linkage.

Yes i have the engine mount separate from the chassis mount. The arrows are forward on both engine mounts. When i sit the engine with the mount and loose screws they sit perfect. Once i tighten the screws and remove the engine from the chassis mount it doesnt drop back onto the chassis mount like it did when the screws were loose.

When i get home i will check out the engine mounts and do what monty said.

Yes, do they make any other bearings other than the 17011 with an inner race of 6.3?

I'm asking because I have a Roma 25 that comes with an other bearing and a Nitrotec by novarossi, r21, and it would appear to have the 17011 in it. Engine build no is 884 I think so was built a little while ago. I'm nearly positive that it has 17011. Yet the Roma build no is 400, so is only just built recently and def doesn't have a 17011.

Any thoughts guys?

Sorry to say but that bearing in the roma is not that great of a front bearing in comparison to the 17011 , i would just keep a very close eye on it

Probably build/batch 884/11 and 400/12 2011 & 2012 , 2012 newer of course ,i explained this a few (3-4 pages) back

Can you tell me if the r21 Nitrotec by nova Rossi would have the 17011 front bearing. I have two one the way away, but just curious.
