That wont happen anywhere , guaranteed

They are matched as a precision matched set at the factory

Just checked clutch bell and spur gear. 13/50 is the combo currently in the truggy. Venturi is 6.5 is that about right? M2c 4 shoe with 1.05 springs. the high speed is about 1 and a half turns from flush right now. If i richen up the high side will i will need to lean the low side ?

Most likely the low end will need to be leaned slightly. The low end is very sensitive and needs small adustments. but make sure the idle gap is not too big first. Drop the idle a little, then lean the bottom a little, then put the top flush. What brand truggy? Going by gearing depends on the truck, but most likely the gearing is fine. The clutch may be fine, but may not be. I would use lighter springs. If I remember correctly the .9's were the ticket with the M2c 4 shoe, the yellow ones anyway.

When the top is lean the bottom ends up slightly rich and the engine has trouble clearing out properly, and runs down the strait on the build up of fuel and goes lean when that runs out just when it needs more. I hope this helps.

I have run with both engines and actually with the same car.

BTTS:
+ price
+ quality
+ tuning quite easy
+ very long using time this engine can takes so many gallon through..
- lack of high power

Bonito
- price
- reliabilty not 100% people have some tuning problems when weather is cooler
+ quality
+ power

But the choosing depends a lot what kind of racer you are and what kind of tracks you are running. I think in Euro style tracks Bonito is the right choose but in USA style...hmm

I currently run the btt in my mbx6 and its got enough power right thru the rev range, its modified and with a 7mm carb insert it holds its own against any os speed
I feel the btt is a bit more user friendly as the bonito in a buggy is brutal.

I haven't done a controlled test yet, but I'm curious. What sort of runtime are people expecting from the Plus-4C Team w/9901? I think I can do between 8 and 9 minutes from fill up to flame out. This being with the exhaust gas cooler, 6mm insert, C6TGC plugs in an MBX6R.

John I would think you should be able to get 10 minutes. You will have to do some testing.

Quick question...

I just bought this fuel filter and it didn't come with instructions specifying the In/Out fuel flow. Took a picture. Any suggestions, it's 50/50.... There is a little hole on the right/center of the brass filter housing. Maybe it is the In?
