Quick question...
I just bought this fuel filter and it didn't come with instructions specifying the In/Out fuel flow. Took a picture. Any suggestions, it's 50/50....
There is a little hole on the right/center of the brass filter housing. Maybe it is the In?

No its a Schumacher Alloy Sintered Fuel Filter (Purple) [SCHU2851]. I chose it because it was one of the few filters sold on amain that has a clip to secure it. $7 not too expensive either.

My btta is lacking on top end, it feels like you are pulling a boat down the straight. Bottom end is great it just doesn't have the top end it should. It has about 2.5 gallons of VP 30%. I am using c6tgc medium plugs and the weather here in MS is in the upper 90's. Im running the 2096/29 pipe and manifold. My temps are in the 265-270 range.
Could my problem be too lean on the bottom and fat on top or is there something else that could be my problem? There really isn't any indications that I am lean on the bottom and I have good smoke when I get on the throttle.
What are some things to check? Thanks

Until you get that nice high top end note then recheck your bottom
End and idle.Very fine adjustments at a time. I use a 7mm insert and 6 nova plug in my btt, my pitman was

In comparison to the 17011 the bearing that comes in the p5xlt is subpar , thats the real issue , nova installed these bearings on many of the higher end engines in between the time that they were switching brng manufacturers and were supposed to have the 17011 ,this has caused some issues as the bearing just has a bad sealing capability , it would be a good bearing for a gallon or two at most but would blow oil out and suck dirt in as crankcase pressures ebb and flow in the block . Solution : put 17011 front bearing in your engine , its the best front bearing on the market , no question
