For those who like to try different clutch combinations like me I really recommend the RMV speed 2.5 clutch system..All 3 shoes and springs assembled on a backplate that is also the clutch/flywheel nut so I have several set up..3 carbon with 1.0mm springs, 3 alloy with 1.1mm springs, and also 2 alloy 1 carbon with 1.1x2 and 1.0 x1 etc..to swop clutch just remove the bell unscrew entire plate and screw on another..2 minute clutch changes..

I've been using this system for 2 years now and am very happy with them..

Hey Giz, when will the MG66 be hitting the French shores. It's on the way - yes ??

I am all twitchy - got the new 2072 mounted up to the 7 Port, buggy all cleaned and prepped ready to hit the track this weekend. After three washed out meetings in a row, I am itching to go racing, and to see how the 2072 performs in anger. I just hope the weather plays the game and lets us go play this time :)

MG66's aren't yet released...I've spent lotsa cash on that and other goodies so I get one of the first when they arrive..YAY..You can be sure I will be shouting about it on here the moment I have one in my sweaty hands..As it's my birthday on the 27th I'm kinda hoping I might have it by then but I doubt it..My next race isn't till the 3rd september As France shuts for the month of August they never schedule any meets (boring) but it will give me a few week to run in the MG66 and fine tune my sp2..Finally going to the big bore shocks as Kyosho have got their asses in gear and released tapered hole pistons for the mp9 shocks...So I'd like to play with the oil/damping rates as they will be very different to my older shocks..

3 sets of MP777 sp2 shocks with mixed pistons/springs etc up for sale soon...anyone interested?

http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...ds=rmv&x=0&y=0

they do 2 or 3 different diameter flywheels for different buggies and a special truggy version which has thicker shoes and extended clutch bell to give a bigger contact surface..

Hey mark at massive mods. this guy special-rc on ebay, are his engines gen5 or 5.5? also I noticed in your listings the 7 port say's gen 5.5 but the 5 port say's gen5. I thought all you sold were the gen 5.5's? also how do we tell the difference?

wiktor0410 07-16-2009 08:19 AM

Hey I think about buying the GO .21 3P engine but I dont know if it will work good with the Dynamite pipes :)

I've read here, that 3p runs well on 086 and 053 pipes. And which i better? I think that 086 - gives more top end - am I right?

I'm not sure about the complete engines cause steven's photos don't show the carbs but the 7 ports he's breaking up have the red GO logo on the carbs so must be gen 5.5..don't forget if you buy a standard engine from him you get NO warranty..ignore the factory modified nonsense they are stock motors...only truly modified engines can be sold internationally with proper warranty as they are warrantied by the modifier..ie massive mods or EBmods etc..

malik 07-16-2009 10:03 AM

Wictor, Yes the 3 port race in stock form you want the 086, you could use the 053 as long as you dont have a huge track. Modified the 053 would be the better choice. I tried the 086 on my modded 3 and it runs just fine but the midrange pipe= 053 just tears it up. The GO 2072 will work also actually on the 3 any GO pipe would be fine.

The 7 Port GO is awesome in a buggy. Same as ben1970, I run this motor in an X Ray 808 and love it. Run 3 x alloy clutch shoes with 1.1 springs. They are a very tight motor when new, so take time with the break in. Read up on tuning tips for the long needle carbs on here too. If you have any questions just send me a PM
