Yes! Thank you! What an odd size. I hope my engine wasn't damaged from running lean after the carb came loose.

hey all - -Ive been out of the hobby for a few years and Im a bit foggy on some of this.... My son in law and I both have Tamiya TRF 801xt kits with Go-tech .23 engines. He is trying to start hios and the bump box wont seem to reach the flywheel. Its an OFNA, not sure if it is for a smaller car or what not. But is there a conversion kit for these to go to pull or bump start?

1. Buy a new rubber wheel for starter box
2.Shim the motor and wheel assembly in the starter box so the wheel sits higher.

I have the protek rc starter box and it was known to have issues like you are having whether buggy or truggy. The fix is what i stated above by shimming and problem solved. I used 3/16”aluminum flat bar to raise the wheel/motor assembly upwards.Hope this helps

Thanks! To clarify, this is the only option isnt it? Unless i swap engines?

remove pinch bolts, heat up the block, carefully take a flat head, and press around the inner part of the sleeve and it should start to rotate, apply an upward pressure when turning the sleeve and work it up and out. Not sure where youre located, if you need help send it to me.
