Excuse my ignorance but I don't know if it's the short or long needle. I can say it's a .21 Turbo Burn Room Coral Head Buggy Engine with a 13mm crank 3p+2. I'm running a Dynamite 5005 with a 7.0 Venturi.

It holds steady at 240 to 250 degrees and rips. I usually run a med-hot turbo plug. The clutch is the losi carbon and aluminum shoes with black spring I believe. Since I have no track to race at I'm sure I'll go for the long lasting shoes after I finish this clutch off. The 5005 pipe is a great pipe, I'm not sure if it's still for sale or not I haven't checked. I'm sure there is an equivalent pipe though.

Lol, you could buy a new motor for the price of that pipe, GO motor and 2072 pipe, perfect combo.

What oil can you use to mix with the gasoline?..I remember the one a company was bringing out last year required their own expensive oil.

Use any high quality castor oil of your choice. The recommended fuel to oil ratio is 20:1.

Are you importing the petrol engines for rtr applications ?

With the current rules in most countries a .28 engine won't be permitted to race in buggy class - just wondering how guys are going to work around this if they intend to race the motors ?
I'm guessing eventually rules may be changed to .21 nitro / .28 petrol, but in the meantime it's a bit of a funny situation.

I think the dynamite pipe give good power/economy for older gx series

The Dynamite 086 top end pipe was a strong pipe on the earlier 5 Port and 3 Port engines that had plenty of bottom end, and the Dynamite 053 mid range pipe was a brilliant match for the 7R engine - strong and smooth right through the power band.
I ran all those combinations back in the day, and they worked great.

I'd forgotten about the 0801 pipe that came out before the 2072. It was pretty good as Rex mentioned.
As far as the GO range of pipes, if you want an all round performer - one pipe you could run on all three engines (3p, 5p, 7p) - I'd still recommend the 2072 as my first choice.

Other than GO pipes, we are seeing great results on the later model GXII-5RHO and GXII-Plus engines running the Werks 2058 pipe and header.
This pipe works on just about anything - GO, Alpha, JS, Nova, RB, OS Speeds - performance and economy just seem to go hand in hand with this pipe. Possibly the most versatile pipe and header set up out there right now.

I must also mention the Werks 2058 pipe and header on the GO .25 6 Port truggy motor - awesome !!
The 2058 really brings this motor to life, giving massive bottom end power combined with a screaming top end that you would normally only associate with a .21 engine.
The unique 6 Port design combined with the 2058 creates a real beast :)
