Cheers Richard.

Be keen to see what the response is like.

Go is making a .28 gas engine??... Interesting.

The Dynamite engine sounds like a disaster from everything I've heard so far. They seem good for little else but breaking conrods.. Lot of XXL-2 guys are on their second and third rods and not even done with break-in yet. Seems to me like a fatal flaw with the Dynamite engine anyway...

If it proven to be success then I'm sure it will be rtr class as it wont make good power n suitable for new hobbyist

Guys, please advise

grizz1 02-13-2015 12:34 PM

The Cera was a different design concept to the "normal" GO engine range, so it's possible shiming was differnt to the normal .5mm in the GX models.

Safest bet is to just run the shims that were in it from the factory......

P4 plug should be fine after run in, should be fine using it for run in as well if needed as its still a hot plug & the element isn't as thin as the P3 plug.

cczjordan 02-13-2015 06:50 PM

Factory shimming is .2mm + .3mm (.5mm) and given .1mm break in shim. Is same like gx series so i will try .4mm p3/p4.

.4mm with os p4 n os2060 pipe give 130°c, maybe crankcase crack or normal?

I got my shipment of engines today from Bellgate! Got them up on my site also.

Go .28 Gasoline engine, looks great!

Here is the ignition box and cute little spark plug.

Why change from the factory .5mm shimming once run in, probably just end up with tuning issues.

cczjordan 02-25-2015 07:56 AM

More power n more fuel economy, no tuning issues.

Will the go gx series conrod use for cera? I think only the crankshaft is different

The Cera/Arrow uses a 30mm rod vs, all long stroke Go use 29.5mm. It will work if you shim the sleeve up .5mm and take out .5mm head shim.
