A Main got the 3-needle carb versions in.
The engine/pipe combo is now $80 more than the 2-needle engine/pipe clearance sale they did a couple months ago. :eek: If you didn't get in on it, you missed out. |

I have run the 053 on the GXII-5RHO and it is a good match. Not the all out power of the 2072, but very smooth and easy to drive. |

Maybe in the short term. Use the new 3 needle from go or arrow. If you can't find them in the states, I noticed this morning that go Taiwan is still doing nothing about rc willpower on eBay. They're still selling new parts, and they have the 3 needle carbs. Continued piss poor global distribution management.

They stop on the top of the O Ring, and with a gentle push they "pop" inside the O Ring and travel another few mm for a snug fit. I might be wrong, but ever since you and GO parted ways, there has been a lot a negativity in your posts towards the product you once supported so strongly. All the other distributors around the place seem very happy with the service they are getting. Perhaps this is not the place to vent your frustrations ? I'm not having a go, just an observation that's all. :) |
That's a fair observation, and I understand where you're coming from. However, the carburetor has always been a sore subject with me. I was assured it was "fixed" in the original GXII 2-needle design, yet it wasn't. Only now with the 3 needle redesign are things right.

No worries, Shane. Yeah I'm on the road a lot lately, but it also opportunes me for...mother things. Going to be getting back to racing here shortly though. Might even head out to California and check out some tracks next month.
Anyways, I'm glad you guys are heading in the right direction. |
Just ran across this old vid. My son Kendall was Sponsored by Go at the time. He was running the 5 port, the last silver head version before the GxII.
He is running the yellow and red Kyosho. About 3 min in he caught Chad Bradley and passed him for the lead when Chad crashed. Unfortunatley we had a long pitstop when the rear screw on the fuel tank came out and the rear of tank came up when I pulled the lid open. We just had our 3 day Auckland Champs event here. Big event down our way with a field of 75 (all but a couple of the top NZ drivers present).
GO factory team driver Craig Underwood took out the double, winning both 45 min Truggy A and Buggy A finals with the GXII-5RHO 3 needle carb motor. This was an awsome result for us locally :cool: Craig will probably post on here soon regarding the performance of the 3 needle motors I'm sure. The GXII-HO range just seems to be going from strength to strength.The new and improved MkII 3 needle carbs seem to add to the already smooth but strong power of the GXII-5RHO motor. |
