Thanks for the replies!! Yeah, the 3003's seem slow, but I wouldn't know any faster than that yet! A little faster than the stock rtr though.

Where would a servo reversing switch be?

and the only options on the controller are: TH.ATV(don't know what this is??) with 2 nobs under it for -,+ and below those two are steering trim and throttle trim.

on the handle there's a d/r- duel rate i'm guessing, don't know what duel rate does?

also an AUX, also don't know what this does.

I don't understand all the 'radio talk'.. still new to me.

the only thing I understand is steering trim, don't even know what throttle trim does!

to reverse the servo on the back of the controller if you have the rtr controller there is 4 little white switches and i for get which to flip so play with them all i guess and the duel rate thing is to ajust how far you can turn

Thanks guys, sounds like CA on the servo saver is the better option for me.

Oh and another thing I was wondering about, on the Scott Brown and JR Mitch setup sheets they are running the front camber link on the outer hole (2) on the shock tower and the middle hole (B) on the caster block. What does moving the entire camber link to the outside do to handling? How does it compare to running 1 on the shock tower and A on the caster block?

Has anyone bought the rpm rear bumper? Or does everyone cut their rear bumper so that it doesn't hit the rear part of the body when landing jumps?

thanks,

thanks,

I typically just leave it alone until the back of the body starts looking rough. by then most of the other parts of the body are trashed anyway, so I just cut out the back section of the body where the tail lights are. It looks more scale that way anyway if you look at a 1:1

thanks,

Mine came cut from the previous owner and I have to say, its the way to go. No body splitting at all because of it.

When changing shock body orings and the bottom...

Question... When changing the little red o rings at the bottom of the shock body to the McMaster-Carr X-rings....should i oil up the rings before putting them in the bottom of the shock body or green slime them???? thanks

Letting them sit in a dab of oil for a few minutes before installing won't hurt. I smeared mine with green slime and installed them. My fronts never leak. The rears are starting to leak just a bit. Probably have an hour of run-time on them.

Either the slime or the oil is okay.

The slime has some staying power, the oil....not so much.

Thanks again for the replies

Yeah it's the 2.4g. I found the 3 white switches, don't know how I missed them before!

they're labled 1,2 and 3. 1 is down and 2 and 3 are both up.

And I'm guessing duel rate should be allll the way up?

Thanks again!

The duel rate should be as far as your servo goes i believe you dont want to stress the servo. Im not completely sure so im gona let someone else chime in but when i had that controller i didnt turn it all the way up
