Yep, that all makes sense. Now that I look at my truck closely, I realize that the 13mm springs would definitely rub... b/c the 12mm Losi's are soooooo close to the camber link. Thanks for all of the input guys, I figured there would be reasons, or else everyone would probably be doing it

ill be honest. i cant keep up with this mental thread. the forum really needs a "go to last read message" button, because i have no flaming idea where my post was, and this all goes way too fast. since my question, which was somewhere around late 500s i think, we are now up to 720.
anyways, ive forgotten what i said/asked because it was like a week ago, and i never saw the answer. oh, yes. thats right. gotta pull the sc10 apart to check it out. I think ill do that now. |

Okay, I finally found the replies in this bloody thread that i got from my question after it was merged.
Ive been working on my bikes today- cleaning and regreasing bearings, and making sure external parts are oiled up. Its night time now so i might get to trying to find out whats wrong with my car. Ive been told by a few people to pull it apart which im hoping to do in a minute just as long as princess fiona (aka dad) doesnt go apeshit about pulling it apart. (he thinks im incapable of unscrewing a few screws, even though ive done it a million times to my other cars) I will post pics of what i find, i might not get round to that until tomorow, which will be monday, and thats a tough day for me (at school and tafe for 12 hours) so it might even be tuesday. ill try to do it tonight but other things may arise. This was your last post:sweat: |

okay i just finnished pulling apart the car, got the diff open and everything, suprised to see plastic gears, and a bit disapointed about that, but whatever it seems to work for most. the meshing looked perfect and the cogs dont look damaged, however when i spin the bigger whitish yellowy on that has the cup joints on it, i feel whatever is inside it crunching. id say thats the problem..

I have been running the 4wd 13mm shocks on my 2wd for a few months, and finally got them dialed. The rears are the same length. The fronts need to run the Xtreme racing carbon shock tower for the GT2 gas truck. Use all thr 4wd parts to complete. The rear shocks need to be mounted on the front of the tower to avoid the binding with the camber link. Use some spacers and a long screw to mount to the arm. These shocks work really well. The 4wd weighs just under a pound more than the 2wd, so if you run on an out door track that gets blown out, this is for you....... Chuck

Just wanted all the SC10 fans out there know that the new DE Racing wide offset wheels for the SC10 RS and 4x4 are now available at www.amainhobbies.com and www.deracing.net. These wheels feature an improved +3mm offset per side to make the truck wider and more stable while still maintaining a ROAR legal width for 2wd and 4wd.
These are alot like the popular JC hazard only with DE Racing style and made in USA quality. |
Does anyone run a capacitor for their steering servo, and if so, where do you get em?
Nevermind....found one. Would this work? Link |
