Yeah I thought about those as well, since you were able to see them in action were you able to get an update on their release?

I don't see to much shoe goo between the collar and steering block. The torque and pounding of the steering will wear the rubber out. It may last a while but I can't see it being permanent. Especially if people complain about the spring being too weak to handle the current setup.

I agree, that's what I was thinking as well

I have a Turnigy lipo 7.4 5000 mah 40-50 c battery on a ft i can't slide the battery back very far because the strap won't go in to the slot because the battery is too thick, is this normal? do I need a different battery?

thanks
Bob

Are you using the stock strap (with two points in the rear that screw down) or the Lipo or FT strap? Using the lipo strap i haven' had any problems strapping down a gen's 5000 or a protek 5600

i use promatch and my carbon one binds up and bows in order to tighten it. i dont like it. but figured it was just the nature of the truck. i like the idea of that carbon strap that was posted earlier.

Yea I think CA would work better than shoe goo. Epoxy might work. They used to make JB plastic weld that would probably be the best bet, but I heard the EPA made them quit selling it.

No those are stock ft associated ones just anodized gold with simple green 7 9v negetive wire any kind in the simple green and positive wire wrapped 2 times around the turnbuckle 30-60sec depending on if the batteries are used or not and try not to put the positive wire fully in the simple green just put the turnbuckle in and hold the end plastic ball cup so u dont get shocked but if you just put the whole turnbuckle in with the positive wire it wont come out as good enjoy

seven 9v? or was that a typo? the blue turns gold or you gotta strip them 1st?

i wana know who figured out it takes 63v to work lol. i guess you use the small 9v so there isnt much amperage . might be a problem if there was some real power being shorted in the green stuff

It is all relative. Allow my diagram to explain what I mean. I remember anodizing my Lunsford turnbuckles back when I was like 15 years old. Boy was my mom pissed when she walking into the basement to find every fire alarm from the entire house strewn about the floor, sans batteries, and me sitting over the top of a bubling tupperware container with some wires and a bunch of batteries.

BIG BORES

Any news on the big bores for the SC10?

I know I asked this question awhile ago, but thought I would ask again.

Thanks Greg G
