Well, i just spent the morning canibalizing my T4 for some of the hop ups to add to my brand new SC10 rtr.

Changed the receiver to my fasst system, 1313 steering servo, FT threaded shocks, blue alum front hinge pin brace, light weight aluminum motor plate.

After that, dropped in the Reedy 5000 pack, and had a blast in the street. Cant wait to run with a bunch of SC10s.

Servos

Anyone found that the RTR servo is hella slow? I did. The steering servo is slightly important, wasn't sure if you guys were aware of that , and was wondering what servos you guys who built kits were using or those who replaced the servo in their RTR, and how you liked them. Thanks.

i think i have the tranny problem was on the track tonight starting hearing like a high pitch noise..the noise was only happening under load is this the shim issue?..haven't gotten the chance to take it apart yet. Ive only had the truck less then a week its a rtr if its the shim issue is their any other shims that will work?..like from another r/c...does anybody have the dimensions of the shims i can probably make them myself...

if the truck is new the spring will wear in some after the 1st few runs. Its best to check the slipper every time you put the car on the track. Make sure you do it IN THE RACING LINE and not off in the powder on the side of the track if there is any.

I switched my RTR to a ae 1313. I put the stock servo in the T4 that will become my 5 year girls when i get a new Esc for my SC10

I felt that the stock servo just had no power. It was really slow, so the upgrade was a necessity.

Hey guys need done help here.my trans is kinda tight to turn once I snug it up to the motor plate. If I leave the bolt really loose it's fine. I remember reading about this problem back when the kits came out but never saw what the fix was. Any ideas? Bad trans case? I'm guessing something doesn't have enough clearance , and I'm talking finger tight here

I put an Ace DS1313 in my kit. Is that the same thing? It's perfect for the truck.
