It looks handmade but I bet that we will see an inner body from proline someday.
I would buy one.

i have a problem with the diff i think running a 8.5 novak in a sc10 with gt2 rear hubs and arms with the cvds. i have a gear slipping somewhere i check the diff and the metal gears looks fine, pinion and spur looks good. should i upgrade to ball diff? im churpin everytime on a hear traction track. are any of you guys having diff issues with a low turn motor

storm800 07-13-2009 07:01 AM

If it was the diff. usually it is a popping sound, if it is more of a chirping sound that sounds more like the slipper clutch.

Thanks LooneyRacing that exectly what I was looking for.

Anyone strip the idler IN the trans? I don't have much time on mine but ate the idler last night. Slipper is set to about a 3 foot slip on takeoff.

Thanks for all of the help.
I did use green slime and it does click, but it clinks too easily IMO. I'm going to get a rebuild kit and use all of the tips you all posted.

I tried rebuilding the shock using the tutorial in the link above and it did not help, so I just bought a shock rebuild kit. The clip in that pack snapped in much harder and has held up to my drop testing, so it was the actual shock part after all.

I did mine this weekend and at least one shock the stack clip was upside down. I took about .030 off the center spacer and it relieved all the stiction in my rear end, it is so smooth now.

You RULE! Where did you buy the body?

balistic 07-13-2009 03:27 PM

When I saw that body I wondered how long it would be before someone did it up right? that's bad ass. is it enough light to run it at night?

Ephidelt490 07-13-2009 03:56 PM

JConcepts sells the body. You can get it from them directly at www.jconcepts.net

They are pretty damn bright! I'm going to see tonight once it gets dark. It will light up my entire room with the lights off.

I just got a set of the Gosebump tires and I was wondeing what inserts everyone is using? The stock ones feel a little soft to me.
