The first batch of RTR's came with a 20 tooth pinion. People were melting the endbells off. AE switched the RTR's to an 18. I'm not sure if this was racing or bashing. I'd run the 18 for a heat and see what the motor temperature was.

Just finished building my new sc10. I am now shopping a brushless system for it. I run Mamba 5700kv's in my T-4's and dont have any complaints. I've been reading how good the LRP SPX is and was wondering what you guys feel about either for this vehicle.

Also on another note what do you guys think of this servo?

I had one of the 20T RTRs and it was horrible. Excessive heat, in the 200+ range. Just awful and after only 8 min on a small track. Switched over to a 14T and it was much better. Then I went to a Trinity Monster stock 27T and 16T and never looked back :D

CVD's

Do u think that there is any difference between the AE & the MIP CVD's... Stronger is what Im meaning, cause they both look exactly the same. I snapped the end off of the Ae one & now Im wondering about the MIP?

I haven't used any MIP's on the SC10, but I do use them on other rigs and they are 2nd to none. Great quality.

Just went out to run my SC10 for the first time. What a truck. The thing is really responsive. Best truck I've ever owned.

Has anyone using AKA's SC10/Slash 1:8 Wheel Adapters for their SC10?
