I like the stock foams. I've seen guys running AKA foams also.

I am getting an SC10 kit soon.

Have a few ?'s:rolleyes:

1. Can I put an 8 cell in it? I already have 2-8 cell nicad/nimh charger for my B44 so I cannot switch to lipos now. I thought I heard u could fit an 8 cell in a SC10. I plan on getting another Castle mamba max esc. Their motors can handle 8 cells.:tire:

2. Can I run any motor in them. I run brushless. I have a spare castle mamba 4600 & a 7700...7700 to much?:sneaky:

3. Do they need weight in the front at all?

4. What are the side bumper things for . I plan on getting the baja bug body that doesnt need them.

5. I am doing the kit so I will be getting some extra parts as it is being ordered...any suggestions? :batman:

I loved that light kit I saw in this thread ......:tire::tire::tire::tire:

You can fit an 8-cell if you mount the 8th cell on top and in the center of the pack

Yes you can run whatever you want

No it does not

They are there to protect the chassis and to prevent the wheels from getting tangled up when you bump into other trucks.

Pick up a couple extra arms, a front bulkhead, the FT aluminum front hinge-pin brace, and some JConcepts Goosebumps

That should do it.

The 30's - More entering speed and smoother exiting with more control.

The 25's - Turned in good but it seemed like it was tight on exit and under power it wanted to go wide.

A really good servo is a must for the serious racer.

Bashers could use almost any servo. zeeeeeerrrp zeeeeeeeeerrrp.

i just got the inline steering axles and didnt notice a huge difference. Maybe a little more twitchy. I was kinda hopeing for more off power turning.

Also anyone strip an idler gear in the trans? I just ate one for no particular reason

racenut123 07-13-2009 07:48 PM

Anyone from the A @ Nats have a setup posted yet?

Ephidelt490 07-13-2009 07:59 PM

Axle Height is center and the Caster is 30*

Bump steer washers = 1 with short black studs on steering rack

Let me know what you think if you try it.
