I borrowed a pair and couldn't even get around the track without spinnin out.

I suggest borrowing a pair to try before you buy em.

I'm hearing good stuff bout the Proline Bowties though.

I'm gonna ask to borrow a pair to try.

Was there any doubt? :sneaky: With similar equipment, the SC10 weighs about 6 ounces lighter. However, even with the "Perceived" advantages, they're still very comparable based on the limited traction. ;) At our last race, a Slash won, and nearly put a lap on 2nd place... an SC10. :D

Put a dialed SC10 in that Slash drivers hands. Might be different?

How long are mains where you race at?

R40Victim 06-29-2009 08:34 AM

10 minutes. With the very low amp draw that the stock motors and 13.5 brushless systems have, even a 3000 mah nimh can make run time. ;)

Thanks man...Hmmm we run 10 here also in the stock class.. I think my batts are toast cause of the fact I dont have nothing at the last 3 laps...Im running a Sc10 with XL10 speedo with Slash 12T Titan motor with a lipo 4900 track power ( butter bar as I call it .. lol). Im coming off at 110 on the speedo & 120 -130 on the motor, geared @ 18/87... BUT I have the Sc8 tires & rims..do u think running those rims & tires is pulling to much power from the batts & thats y Im so weak in the end? Thanks in advance

Hmm, what's your voltage like when you put that battery back on the charger? Is it hitting the LVC? That "Sounds" like you'd have AMPLE battery.

I just weighed some tires

Slash Switch with Proline wheel 135g
Slayer Switch on sc10 wheel 115g
Bowties on sc10 wheel 95g
Goosbumps on sc10 wheel 85g

I would bet the sc8 are a bit heavier.

You will need the rear arms hinge pins and hub carriers to convert. You could also run the Racer Edge aluminum hubs for additional toe- in on the rear.
