I went to my local auto store and got the stickiest/tackiest grease I could find. Something that will stick on the gears and not be flung off. And just a small amount is needed. It goes a long way.

Next question:

Trying to install the STEERING DRAG LINK from SNR.

How do you get the stock one out? I can't seem to get any of my hex wrenches to fit. What size is that?

What is the losaxxxx ref of these 4 screws that fix the motor mount from under the chassis?
Have used one from my 8IGHT 2.0 set but not the exact fit.
Thx for your input.
Best,

Hi, last time I asked this question it took a while for an answer as well. The part number is LOSA6262 which are 8-32 1/2. The 5-40 1/2 is too narrow a diameter.

Hi there eddomark,
Good to see u here again.
Thx for the losa6262 ref.
Though it seems it is also the part used with 8IGHT 2.0
Thx for your input, that manual is really bad compared with 8IGHT 2.0,
Best,
V

I was planning on picking up some bulk white lithium bearing grease or something of the sorts from Wallyworld. Any suggestion on what that sticky/tacky grease would be? I do notice that the losi and AE grease comes right off.

I have something real close to this. Even the same red color. The one I use is called "Red "N" tacky #2" from Lucas Oil. I have used the Team Chase for my baja and it sticks to the gears just like it.
