Now if you are talking about hard steel... Tool steel is frikin harD! Just a lil pricey! Even harder more exotic titanium = higher prices.. Ifd somebody had a 3.5mm bar stock on hand that was already polished... Yeah..
I just dont happen to have handy a bar fed cnc lathe... I know where 4 are though! Don't work there any more... The stockers are just worthless, but its all we got right now...
The stockers are Junk? What are you people running into?? I can see going lighter but how many of you are actually bending or breaking these (stock hinge pins)?

It's bad enough dealing with my one belt let alone 3. I really can't see how that can be more efficient than a normal 3 diff setup. Then with all the spots for batteries, dam how many do they expect to run.

Try the lane setup....except rear hubs forward,5/5/3 diffs and a little more toe out in front...and definately the emulsion shocks w/ bleeder caps.....

hey lowroad..

i just put some hinge pins i had from my revo into the scte arms and they fit perfect, so i think. they are slightly on the free side, but most people are drilling the arms anyways. mine arent drilled so they fit fine. i have never bent or broke a stock revo pin in 3 years and they are about 1 inch longer over the scte one. With that said lunsford makes the ti hinges for revo, so just get them at 8 dollars a set and cut them the right length for either stock or the snr hinge pin holders since they are thicker.

I think SOMEONE needs to edit 1st page, under needed to complete. It states you need a 550 can motor, when most of us know some 540's do rather nicely.

ya a 540 and dont forget the keyword: 4 Pole. A regular 540 motor would heat up like crazy in this truck.

Yeah, thanks to 4 pole motors we now CAN run 540 motors... Before they would just smoke....
