Watching Richard run today is making me REALLY anxious to get mine, supposed to be here Monday.

I seen a few of them run at PNB and at the Spring Fling at The Asylum, but I was racing those events, and couldnt really sit and watch the other trucks, seeing it today on a blown out, rutted up, dusty as all hell track you could really see the Losi shine...
oh yeah, tire and motor choice was pretty key too!!!
Good Job old man!!!

Will the titanium shock standoffs (LOSA5439) for the 8ight platform work on the SCTE?

Yeah, it's a great place to have close to home. Driving was very inconsistent at best.

Good question.. from looking at both of mine

drill out the stock plastic shock spacer to fit on the 8ight stand off (8ight is thicker)
drill out the shock tower hole, thicker hole needed (only 1 can be drilled, so pick well otherwise not enough material will be left)

Note this may only work if you are using the stock towers or carbon towers as the alum towers have the grooves and you would need to be very creative w/ a dremmel to even attempt.

Can I ask you guys what you do for cleaning? I use compressed air and a brush.
I see guys spraying silicone or something on the bottom and suspension area's. Is there something else that should be done? Can you water the suspension area's or is it a bad idea?

Yeah I was bashing the 1415 with 20 tooth pinion on 3s; with Stampede Badlands on. My face still hurts from smiling. My son's tires are hurting from 3 out or 4 being ripped off the rim. I was even able to get the big block revo out; both trucks driven hard with no breaks other than the tire issue. The RC God's where shinin' a light on me today.

pretty sweet job man

The race day was just for short course....normally we run two races a month....this month had a 5th saturday in it, so we ran an extra/short course only race.

The mains were ran backwards just for fun....just to shake things up. Normally the mains and the qualifiers are all ran in the same direction.

ESC looks like its no good, any info on this?

Thanks..!

Don't know if the current batch of trucks has the updated pins....but Chris pins are worth it. PM hacker07.....he'll know.

Reading on here, some folks have boxes full of smoked sidewinder esc's. The RX8 with the 1410 is golden.

Ditch the stock shock towers, they're just stamped metal and will bend easy......I think most everyone has gone with the carbon fiber towers.

Our track is hard packed and loose/dusty. I ran 5/3/2 on it.....works like butta.

It was great, ran 12 min practice runs and temped my tekin at 136, made last run a long one close to 20 mins and temped at 166. I love this truck, cant wait for the last rockstar race this friday!!!
