I'd do that droop pad mod asap, if it keeps up after that you most likely need some pipe tape on the thread of your droop grubs to make sure it doesn't move.
What is the part number again?

Thanks.

Haha yer a funny guy, jus fer that I'm a school ya next weekend wit a broke down Jammin! Lol
No really that was hilarious tho.
But for real the losi is a pos,its beefy and won't break as much stuff as some other cars, but I'd rather replace an arm than have to tear into my diffs every week.
I'm quite upset about the cheesy diff gears stripping out.....lame, and yes they had the hardened chris pins in them. Sorry had to vent
I still love my losi.....once this all gets figured out

The Losi remains undefeated! This thing is a beast. I tried something yesterday and didnt like it......I unscrewed the lower front shock rod ends two full turns like has been suggested and I didnt care for it at all. It loosened the truck up and took away steering. Im not saying that mod is no good, just saying I didnt like it. We has Losis finish 1st and 3rd yesterday. The third place guy has only been racing for about three months and cake from driving a slash. I believe this was his third race with his losi and he is running the 1415 on 3s.
Thanks again Losi for this top notch truck!

here is the info off page 1 of this thread...

Chassis droop screws
Keep an eye on your chassis where your droop screws hit the stops. The small screws will chew down the chassis over time and cause premature wear. You can prevent this by installing 4-40 x 4mm Droop Screws (part#LOSA6253) http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=LOSA6253

**** Salad you should add the 4-40 tap link just to give people a starting point.. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...?ProdID=DUB361

your default losa6253 link didn't work either.

Just call losi and get the pins... don't chance it, you don't want the gears and everything going bad. I've seen some warn through from the factory, others got a few packs off before getting super bad.

Let us know if losi won't hook you up, I'm sure someone can help.

Mine were badly grooved after one battery pack. don't risk it. Get the new pins or chris pins.

Is anyone on here using the SNR CF shock towers?
If so has anyone broke one or heard of them being broke?

I'm usually a pretty clean driver but once in a while I do end up crashing or being hacked. just curious any info would very much be appreciated thanks.

also wondering if anyone has used the RX8 with the 1415 motor?
hope it would be as quick as when I was using the mmp sct speedo.

I just got one of these trucks also. The first thing I did was tear it all down & replace the pins. Got the pins in on fri .Got it all finished up yesterday. It's (major surgury) and a pain in the butt; not to mention annoying having to do it on a new rtr truck. But I'm glad I did. My pins were "very soft" and even had deep scratches in them from just spinning the tires a few times by hand! I'm sure they would not have lasted long @ all. Just bite the bullet and do it first thing!

I don't know for a fact, but I cannot imagine that it would be any slower.

+1
reason why I sold my scte. Diff issues. Yes I had Chris pins. I will pick up the Losi ten scte again if either:
* aftermarket steps up and make hardened diff internals
• Losi fix all the issues and re release the truck(like the strike)
Till then, I'm lovin my nexx10

You can use wd-40 and spray it on your truck( Not on electronics ) and wipe down.. Lubes everything and makes your truck look like new and clean up very easy after your next race..

Hacker where can I get my hands on the stock grease they are packing in these diffs from the factory? I really REALLY love my center and front as is. I've been using oils forever in my 8th scales but with no leaks and no issues I would just like be able to freshen them up a couple times through the season.

Thanks.. Please package and sell or at least to me direct if you can't sell to everyone LOL
That grease is not currently sold. The funny thing is, we as well as many others have vehicles that use grease in the gear diffs and no one sells the diff grease, lol. I am talking to the vendor to consider it.
