thunder power motors are good too with plenty of adjustable timing. for about $20 less you can try speedpassion v3 or team epic duo 3. they are all great motors.

They haven't discontinued their 12th scale or their other electric models (keeping my fingers crossed). Serpent makes good quality products at decent prices. I am counting on them too...

You can buy a decent temp gun for about $20. With an ez run 60a you are not gonna get blistering speeds. I believe that esc only has motor timing. I would not put any motor higher than 4420kv motor...

you can use the prostock (comes in black or blue) and the 323 program. this esc is made for boosted 17.5 class. the gt2.0 works just as good too.

almost all manufactures give kv ratings for their motors trinity/epic, lrp, tekin, orion, novak, hacker, speedpassion,etc.... the only company that i know of that doesn't give a list is thunder power...

if you are running super stock or boosted class then yes it's recommended. if it's stock class no boost any speedo will do, as there is no boost. if you wanna keep up i suggest a trinity epic duo 3...
