With the x12 10.5 / 13.5 it is a good idea to use the timing insert with the least timing and time with the ESC.
(IIRC the 4 dot timing insert)

Otherwise the motor will get very hot indeed.

(Never had the problemen with my Moore due to a different steering setup or any other car so was a bit surprised)

Don't think that will work, the bulkheads are farther apart on the Cyclone than on the Xray.

You can use Xray CVDs in the front if you use a one-way, replace the HB one-way outdrives with Xrays...

No need to test this, internally it only does linear discharge for 5 cells of course.

If you want the pulse discharge you need to do that externally.
