They started that way. Now they are completely different base designs.

That front end looks like the Team Associated, but it is actually different. Look closely.

I can't wait for the Cyclone 12 Hara or Moore edition (HB is about as creative with names as AE)

If you look closely it definitly isnt an L4 ripoff. The front end is different, it looks as if the rear brace is different, the shock is different along with the rear pod, the bumper, and the battery hold downs.

I can actually see a significant difference in rear-end design compared to the L4 and a lof of other cars, for instance there's really no top deck covering the motor.

It also appears as if the motor have been moved further towards the middle of the car.

again, chassis plate only.the pod and the rest of the car look like a standard 1/12th with there own spin on it.

No, all of their stuff since the cyclone has carried the cyclone name, ie the buggy, now pan car. I would like to see them call it something else

How about JMRCA 12L? Geometrically, regardless of the top pod plate design it's pretty much a 12L. Which is fine, virtually all the Japanese 12th scalers are slightly revised L cars. The L car works really well on asphalt, so why fix something that isn't broken?
