rcnewb2004:
I hear the clicking when its discharging, but when it hangs or reinitiate the clicking sound stops. I tought that was (the second battery was bad) the problem but the same problem has ocurred with other two different batteries: ->

Well, i tried to discharge two different batteries and happens the same that happened with the others i wrote after, the first discharge is ok with this values: Time: 414, Voltage: 7.54, Energy: 93.6, Capacity 3680 & I.R.: 31.5

Then i conect the second battery, it starts the discharge and in 10 min+- it reinitiate de discharge, like if i disconect the battery from the batman and then conect it again.

I,ve read that's not necessary to let the batman get cold so i think that's not the problem.

Does anybody know what happens?

My guess is that something is wrong with your batman. Try these 2 packs with someone else that also has a spintec.

Are you sure the "ticking" sound is coming from your Batman, not the cells. It may just be the batman doing it's magic on the cells and de-crystallizing them. Dunno about it hanging though.

Ok, I've checked that the problem is the batman , it restarts when overeheated . Now the question is, żis this normal?
If I leave the batman get cold a few hours it works fine again...

I don't think its normal. But you can always double check with spintec to see if this is normal, or does it need repairs.

Erik,

I recently bought a Battery Manager V2(less then 2 weeks) and only used it less then 5 times and using yesterday it had some crackling sound and thick smoke came out of it and it became very hot very quickly.

How can I send it for repair and how much does it cost to repair it?

OM

Vassago,

I have tried sending a email directly to them. No response. So I thought of trying it here.

Does anyone know of any other email address that I can contact them? Please PM me.

Hi Batman users!!

What are good IR numbers for the latest 4200/4600 nimh packs??

And how do you interpret the energy (joule) numbers?? Is it a bit like the watts the battery can deliver?

Sorry for the ??? I've reading half of the thread...

Thanks

Hello guys!!

Just got a new Nosram 3600mah stick that I'm going to solder as a racing/practice pack...

Do you think its worth cycling it once or twice on the BATMAN! The batman seems to help cells so...

Thanks!
