Nexus, we are not blaming you. You have been a great help and appreciate all you have done. I really think its a problem with the Speed Passion the Company. Chinese don't really understand how business is done here. Sometimes it seems like we are beating a dead fish. A little more customer service would go along way, specially if they expect us to continue buying this product. If you have any influence with these people you might pass on some of these Posts and let them know how much these posts go around the industry. You get just one Irate customer on here and it could effect a lot who are thinking on buying. I also push these combo's at my local track and few have bought them. I don't want to get negative crap from some at the track about how bad they were treated by Customer Service. Just my 2 Cents. Take if for what its worth!

Nexus two quick questions for you. First, and not to beat a dead horse but do you know if there is any update coming for the stock0 profile to allow for more brake tuning such as initial braking and such? Second question is any word on the V4 motor USA release? Playing the motor of the week game and looking at the SP v4 or Trinity D4 as my next toy.

@nexus: I don't think any of us are looking to argue here. It seems there is a general love of the products. Including myself. I'm happy to support and I have a great deal. I currently own 3 of your v3.0 motors and two of your ESCs. That's close to 500 bucks worth of gear.
After installing the latest speed passion firmware it no longer drives the motor. Here's where things get tough for me. It seems I'm not alone either. I'm about to buy a third ESC to replace the unit I mentioned above. I will send it in for repair but I expect it to take weeks of hassle to be fixed. All three repairs I've done with your company have been difficult. I do appreciate you digging up the support number for me. My experience so far has been little to no communication, no tracking etc. similar to others here it seems. This has been extremely frustrating and It's difficult to call support with business hours and all that and since email support has been intermittent doesn't leave a whole lot of options. Lastly after the last snafu and many many angry emails and calls I was awarded a discount coupon for my troubles. Of course it expired before I could use it. Gee thanks!!
The point I'm driving at here is that we are trying to help your company with our dollars and also our feedback. We do appreciate that you have taken the time to listen however I think a little respect and appreciation for your supporters is in order. There are quite a few speed passion supporters here in this forum and up until this latest snafu I've been supporting your products at the track with technical advice. I know many others here do as we'll. I've held off bring these issue up hoping I could resolve them directly with the company and not have to bring these issue publicly.
Can you please explain what we are missing? Perhaps customer service is just different for your company and the expectation is these are disposable products not meant to be repaired or have any durability. Lest even an expectation of compassion for a customer who received a dead product out of the box direct from your online store. Lastly I would like to ask what your position/relationship with speed passion is, Perhaps this isn't even your responsibility and we shouldn't be hammering you.
Thank you again for listening we do appreciate your responses here and I do think we are all here in a supportive fashion albeit frustrated.
There is nothing more fun than smoking the other more expensive brands with my speed passion gear.

Agree with your assessment above. Not sure who runs the US part of Speed Passion but I have this funny feeling its run by Chinese employees. So it's probably a Cultural thing. Will see how things go.

Hi guys, just a little thing I encountered when I tried to get onto the speed passion us website this morning, I was unable to access the website with any browser (chrome, explorer, firefox and opera) and google chrome put a warning that the site may have been hacked! Not sure if this is a single localized incident, or if others are having this same issue. I am in no way suggesting that it is hacked, just submitting an observation.

Hello everyone. I just got a b5m and a speed passion revention speedo and 17.5 motor. I calibrated everything and the radios neutral point and it seems to stutter at the beginning of the power band. I did try 2 different sensor wires. It seemed to work better without it plugged in. Very weird. Also, the programmer does not work when plugged in the esc, it just lights up with the name.
Btw this was done all on the bench. Any ideas?

Thanks for the notices. The website is back up as of today.
13machine...if you want PM me a phone number and we can chat this week.
idrummer...Double check the sensor board or try a different one. What settings/timing are you running. The programmer sounds like the wire connecting it to the ESC is reversed.
I run a B5 RM with that same combo. I don't have the car in front of me, but I think my settings are as follows:
MMM 17.5 - green timing board - timing set about in the middle of opening
For those running the Speed Passion 17.5 in 2WD buggy that is the most common setting that our drivers have been running for a few years.
Reventon ESC:
DRRS: 9
Drag Brake: 0%
Nuetral: 6% default
Drive: Forward/No Reverse
Temp and Voltage Protection: Off
Brake Force: -70 or 80%...not sure, but it's that range.

@nexus: Frustrating response to be honest. Unfortunately pretty much what I expected. Almost all of the emails I've written to Speed Passion have been replied to with little to no actual answers. I have had to write several times to get the same questions answered. Would you at least tell us what your official speed passion position is? I'd like to know before I spend the time chasing you down over the phone only to find out you can't help because you aren't the correct person to speak with in this regard.
