Unplug the esc from the receiver, power on, and see if you can get the ESC to make it's "chime" (confirmation that the ESC went all the way thru its cycle). If it does, try to load a new profile. If it loads, power it off using the button (Not by unplugging the battery), plug the esc in, and re-calibrate the ESC before doing anything else.
I have seen scenarios where people have had the ProGauge plugged in, made some changed, and unplugged it without saving or while it was saving and the ESC can loose it's calibration.
Basically, the ESC cannot see what it last knew was "neutral", so it won't finish it's power on routine. At least that is a place to start.

Still didn't work. It goes through the whole boot cycle but at the end when the orange and red flash, it continues to flash and won't finish. I can't get the pro gauge to connect at all. I have 2 of the same exact set ups and I tried different lipos and connectors and everything works. Just not on this 1 system.

Waiting for the webmaster to load it. Basics are the same as the vtx10 manuals except the profiles and default settings. There are specific profiles for 2s and 4s as well as 2 pole and 4 pole motors.

Hello
My VTX10 (black shrink wrap on caps version) stopped working last night in my 2nd qualifier. Speedo was Christmas present and third night on the track and has worked fine
I changed sensor wire, tried different motor, battery and no forward movement. I get a high pitch noise from the motor.
I tried recalibrating the radio, changing profiles with pro gauge. Speedo turns on normally and goes through regular boot up sequence but no throttle. It may have moved the motor slightly if I spin the wheels but it wouldn't go more than 1/4 revolution.
Could it be bad capacitor, or faulty sensor plug? I tried three different sensor cables and couldn't get it to work.
Speedo installed in 22 with Viper 13.5 and CRC shorty lipo
Help!

I would like to try it with a different capacitor board to rule that out before sending back for replacement. Anyone else have a suggestion?

I have a copperhead esc with viper 4500 motor that I have been very happy with but I now have a problem. When I power up I get a blinking green light and a steady beeping. I can get into program mode to hook up progauge. I load profile #4 via the progauge, click on save. Progauge says saved but f and r lights are fast blinking until I hit esc. The f and r lights stay steady on. I unplug the progauge, press and hold the red button to shut down. When starting again I get the fast blinking light and steady beeping. I can not get in to change the profile mode from the esc, I can only enter the program mode or turn everything off. What am I doing wrong here?
Sorry, problem solved, it seems my radio unbound from the esc. At least now I know LOL
