I've got a30. Does that make a difference when upgrading?

I've got half a dozen USB cables with all sorts of different connectors. Does this USB cable have a proprietary connector? If not, do you know what type connector it would take for plugging into the ESC?

Somewhere I've got the original cable, but, all my "stuff" is in a state of disarray.

I could buy one and have it shipped here before I could fine my original one.

it is a special cable. I tired to rig something up for mine, but nothing worked. You need the PC-Link from viper. And yes, the a55 was way more powerful for me.

You can find the cable here:

http://www.shopviperrc.com/ProductDe...ode=6VSPCLINK1

As for the BE motors, they were just a test item last year, still under development. VST is still quite the motor!!!!

I run a vtx10r/7.5 in my Kyosho. Started on profile 2, just been tweaking the throttle (9600 or 12000) and brake pwms (1600), brake strength (75), punch (80). Haven't had to play with much more than that. Pushed the SBEC to 7V too - I run a LP servo in my fs2sp so it needs all the help it can get.

What is the bec voltage set to out of the box? My servo needs 6v and I do not want to push 7v to it.

New to the Viper line of ESC and Motors. Installed a new VTX10 and 7.5 Viper motor from a combo set. Installed and wired up really nice and simple. Radio calibrated nice and to the letter of the instructions. No problems....nice. Installed the PG and I have A55 firmware. Planning on running the new viper setup in a Mod 2wd SC. I switched the profile to #2 with the PG. Is that a good starting setup in SC or is there something else setup wise to put on my 7.5 combo?

Thanks

I usually run Blinky mode on my mod motors, Profile 3.
Plenty of power without the added stress and heat of boost and timing.

Does the progauge give you acess to ALL the features you get on the esc?

Profile 2 is the "2wd Mod" profile. It has less punch and no boost.
Profile 3 should be the 13.5 boosted profile. It is much more aggressive.

For a 7.5 in a 2wd SCT, I would run profile 2 and just adjust the PWM and Punch settings to your suit your flavor.
