I hear what you're saying but this wasn't a driving/line choice issue. I know 17.5 blinky isn't super fast but I know it's quite a bit faster than what I saw with my buggy. As soon as I drove it, I thought "this can't be right." And to have such a dramatic increase in power by using the boosted profile seems a little weird too.

I have done a lot of testing with mine and I am now at 32/72 with full motor timing and I keep going up on the PWM. I believe I am at 6000ish. It just keeps getting faster and faster!! I can probably go up a tooth or two on the pinion even, as the temps are still 120ish....

How do I enable reverse and maintain full power for forward and reverse? I understand "practice" mode is the only way to do this, but, doesn't "practice" mode limit power?
Also, where should I set the SBEC voltage with a Savox 1258TG?
PLEASE help me!

I always run SBEC at 6.0, never felt like I needed it to be more twitchy than that with my Futaba servos.
You can put any profile into reverse by making the change to practice mode. Just keep in mind reverse turns off boost mode. Too many people having issues early on running reverse with boost. System wasn't made to work that way.
Gene, sounds like everyone pointed you in the right direction on gearing.

I like 40* on my Viper 17.5, Track is switching to Stock Blinky (us to be 17.5 open/boosted) for next year. I went to 30, 35 and I like 40 for when it is packed down, and i think 35 will be good when the grip isn't great.
