I'm having issues with my second VTX10R. After setting it up, I can ramp up the throttle slowly and it's fine. If I pull the trigger too fast the motor stops.
This is the second brand new VTX10R that has done this. My M11x was on a new profile so I don't think it's radio settings. This is used with a Trinity D3 10.5 turn motor in a DEX210. Has anyone else experienced this?

Kendall Welch ended up with a 8th Place finish in Mod Truck at Spektrum, and Kevin Westindorf ended up 9th in 17.5 Buggy. Pretty fierce racing in both classes with a little bad luck in each.
however I have setup sheets from both drivers for their A-Main efforts, and my setup sheets from both my cars.
One ironic thing is that the configuration of the straightaway with a VERY tight sweeper at the end had us all able to be very aggressive with our drag brake and we were using different brake frequency settings to change the initial "grab" of the brakes when the drag brake engaged. I was running 70% drab brake at one point, and was able to hug the inside line very tight, yet was easy to drive and no worry about spinning out.

One question, do you leave your radio EPA at 100 and Exp at 0 with these settings or do you adjust them as well?

If your speed control can't follow that process, with the radio set properly them think about sending it in.

Bob, I don't want to speak for Dave but I think the Throttle EPA would stay at 100, maybe only lower the brake EPA depending on how you set up the push brake (moving the trigger to get brakes). Yes the EXPO was probably 0 as well as you can make that type of adjustment on the speed control in a couple of ways.

Hey guys!! Quick suggestion question! I have the Copperhead 4500 in my EXO Terra Buggy love the system so much I want to replace my MMP and 1410 3800 system in my SCTE for a Viper for racing. Which Copperhead system should I get that will be better than my castle, the 4500 or the 5150??

Most racers use the 4500, but if you want to go a little crazy! Go up to 5150. The 4500 is more drivable. I have not ran on track that I got to full speed with the 5150. Don't forget even with the 4500, you can control the settings to help find tune the power and rpm you need.

OK, I have a TLR22 with a Viper VTX10R and a Viper 8.5T motor 76 spur 21 pinion.
My car drives good very smooth, but I drove a couple pro's cars this weekend and I am looking for the RIP or SNAP in throttle they have, if I pull full throttle I want ALL the power instant. I am mostly a 1/8th Nitro racer so I dont know much about the ESC ect...someone else set up my ESC as follows
Throttle: PMW Freq - 12000Hz
Punch - 70%
Curve - Linear
Dead Band - Narrow
Motor Power: Acc Boost - start 9500rpm finish 19500rpm Max Adv - 0 deg
Slew - 15deg/.1sec... Max 0deg... delay .35sec
So I played with some of it including boost but eveything I did only made it hit the rip I want after 10-15 feet and not instantly...it was poping wheelies down the strait but half way.
ANY HELP AND ADVISE IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Turn the punch up. Maybe the Throttle freq down slightly. Larger spur/pinion combo will give more torque as well.
Lower the start rpm and you might wheelie off the corner!!
Also keep in mind that 2wd buggies have a flow to them, corner speed helps. Grip it and rip it, like a 1/8 doesn't always work -- but it does depend on the layout your are racing on.
