Sorry to keep pushing this issue, But will the 1/8 ESC & Motor be coming out soon??? I need to replace my Tekin ASAP. Would like to get some practice with the system before the Midwest Championships and Motorama.

We have been working tirelessly to get our VTX8 in our customers hands. We have the final details in the works and it should be released next month sometime. Thanks for being patient. We want everything to be perfect before it comes out so hopefully you guys can understand the time we put in.

My vtx10r (black cap/presoldered wires) was cutting out yesterday, usually after a jump. Once was a complete shutdown, the others I had steering but no throttle for a while.

What should I check/reflow? Power plugs? Motor wires? Change sensor cable?

First check your power,if your using bullet conectors? They tend to get slop in them arking the battery and no power. replace sensor wire after power check. A bad sensor wire can make the wax and motor do diffrent things so it's nice to eliminate that first.

Also recheck you motor and esc temp cut off and battery cut off in the Protection section. If not set properly they the system will shut down the motor to prevent a run away situation. Example is motor temp cut off is 220, it will shu down motor until temp lowers. Remener these temp readings are internally measur so they wil be higher by as much as 50-60 degrees than what you read outside the can with a temp gun.

Very programmable just like the VTX10/VTX10R's. Viper has been having us drivers test these for some time know and that is the way it should be done IMO.. I have no idea on pricing as I'm just a driver for them and when they are ready I'm sure Eric or Kim will let everyone know
