wow, take a family day and the forum grows like two pages!!!!
Just a couple of comments:
The instructions, decal, sheets, servo tape and etc are under the foam and cardboard retainer, on the bottom of the box. Quite excellent work in packaging, its I say so....
Drag brake -- really something you need to test with yourself to see what fits your driving style. For me depends on layout, class I am running, and how confident I am driving that day -- more drag brake seems to settle my driving and keep in control -- says the old guy.
Motor timing - our motors come set at 30º.
Temps - reading on the can with a temp gun normally I say about 150º, there are exceptions try and push it more, just remember the speed you may get now means you will have to think about replacing the motor sooner. We have drivers who are still very competitive with motors that must be 1 1/2 at this point, if properly maintained. As a side note, unless I run in really mudding or dusty conditions, I don't really ever take my motors apart to clean them -- just if you do, spray out with air, no motor spray.

It can effect the epoxy and other parts of the stator. I am sure you could it on some parts, but with our cans being sealed, you really don't get anything but dust inside. Even our on BE test motors that had large opening, its not like a lot of dirt collected in there. Air can or compressor was always more than enough to clean them out.

Wildcat, yes you need the PCLink cable to complete the update. Its essentially a USB connection on one end for your computer and the ProGauge connection on the other.
Not sure what you mean by revision history? PM with more details, so I can help you.

I have been trying to find out a little bit about the company "Viper RC". Are they an American company? Or just the distributor? How long have they been in business? Who designs the esc's? American, Canadian, Chinese etc.
