Thanks for info I race 17.5 but some tracks allow 13.5 since most rtr are that, so they allow us to boost

CT Racer - yes, the speed controls come wired with orange motor wires, red pos and black neg. You can change them if you like....... we just added them because a high majority of units returned for warranty service were related to bad wiring (either not enough, or too much solder).

OMG - the VPort will not show low voltage - just thermal for the motor or esc from the protection settings. depending on what was flashing it tells you which was outside the protection range. Letting it sit for even a minute or two can cool it off to run again.

nj- last time I ran 10.5 in my SC10 I ran 87-24, but that track was little smaller than Mike's. Give it a try, check the temps and adjust from there. Might be a good place to test some boost to get you down the straights!!

Thanks Bob, glad you see you on line as well, I am lucky, a mile in every direction from me is without power. 1000 feet up the street a tree is down blocking the road. Except for some shabby cellphone service, we are OK. Here in NY - I have had more rain here than the home office up by Seattle!!

I have a vtx10 with A55 firmware in a b4.1 running 17.5. The esc has been resetting (shutting off for 5 sec) than coming back on. I never lose steering This occurs at different times. It has happened on hard landings. Going down a straight. In a rythm section. Has this happened to anyone and if so how did u fix it. I really hope there is a easy fix. The esc was at 108 degrees with outside temp in the 80s

Thx for any and all info. Tim

What is your esc and motor temp cut off set at? Also, voltage cut off. All under Protection.

i would check your solder joints, it could be when your landing a joint is being pulled apart and then touching at rest.
are your running toobs?
i run my esc setting as follows
esc: 200 deg.
motor: 220
battery cut off: 6.4
with a VTX10R and 17.5- boosted.
