I'll leave the tech stuff to the pros but first thing you need to look at is what was the same / different as far as electronics between both times. Did you use everything the same? was any one piece different? if so, which piece? That's all stuff that will help in trouble shooting the issue.

Thanks for the Bob!!
Hash- we have seen where the bad connections cause an arc and the system shuts down.
With the settings discussed earlier. Generally the faster the motor (lower turns) you want to run a higher freq to keep the power band smoother.

I had found on my vtx10 after a crash that mine would restart after a jump and some times just shut off, looking closer i found that the solder had cracked around the negative side of the power cap and the cap was bent up so i re-flowed the solder and used some double sided tap under the power cap to keep it from moving, that was two weeks ago and i have not had any trouble with it anymore, this wound be a nice little mod for people to use to keep the cap in place just be carefully lifting the cap just enough to put the tap under.

"VIPER POWER" Will be running 3 classes this weekend during the Turkey Bowl @ McCullough's Off-Road in Sarver Pa. 2 will be Viper powered!!! The only one that won't be is the Losi 2.0!!! Can't wait for that system.
Heading to the Reedy Race of Champions in Jan, will be taking a Viper Powered 22 Buggy! Just wondering if any of your Team Drivers will be there that I can ask questions???

Yes, we will have several drivers at the Reedy Race. As well as some factory support, out tech office is close by WCRC. I was talking with Travis about the Reedy Race yesterday as a matter of fact. I wanted to go, but looks like I might be heading south at time of year.

The Viper RC offices are 20 minutes away from WCRC and I will personally be there to support all our drivers. My email is [email protected] if you guys need to talk, thanks

Just a FYI
Recently I have seen some cases of people having sensor wire issues (not with just our wires, but all brands)
Take a moment when you instal your ESC and motor to fasten the body of the senor wire down. Just a Zip Tie, clamp, etc.... that is a inch or two from each end of the wire.
I see the plugs get wore out or the wires fatiguing at the plug from the sensor wire moving up and down with tracks with big jumps or that are rough. It's not a big problem, but I have seen it get to the point of causing a car to cog and/or stop completely. What's worse is that It can take things to the point of ruining the plug on the motor to the point where the sensor wire won't stay plugged in. You would then have to replace the sensor.
