With the 710, most zero offset tires will work fine unlike with the 705. I think the Fast tires you have are with +2 offset in the rear? If yes, then just reset the rear trackwidth of the 710 accordingly when using offset tires.

Yippee. I'm on the 100th page !

p/s: kriedel, got your PM. Got a few PMs also requesting to post the larger size PDF / JPG file of the setup sheet here. Be patient as I'm working on it !

I tried some TakeOffs and the spokes where hitting the hub carriers and the Fast Tires center is too thick and does not leave enough thread sticking out to get the wheel nut on.

That's strange. The other day a buddy of mine ran the +2 offset rear FAST tires on the 710 and did not have any issues...

Maybe the hole is too small
make it a tiny bit bigger

then the wheel will fit perfectly

It may not be the thickness problem...

try it

Default Michael's Setup Sheet for Srinakarin Track in Thailand

For those who requested for a clearer and bigger setup sheet that I posted earlier, I have attached the JPG file below.

Perhaps since Michael is online, we would appreciate if you could walk through some of the things you did and why you did it.

I am using the solid diff at the front and have already disconnected the rear sway bar and this made a bog difference.

"Difficult" is the key word D. Chances are you are normally told at the last minute that some guy in the same main as you AND a higher position than you, have the same frequency as you! Guess who needs to change in a hurry? YOU/ME

I've damaged one xtal in the past doing this in a hurry before a main. Not willing to rush anymore ...

D, with this setup, do you know how MS mounting the (track rod)ball end ? on top of arm saver(like us) or bellow the saver (like in the book) ?

Last week, my 710 is handling very differently.
And last night, I just found this:
With 0 deg toe in, 1.5 camber, 6mm setup ride height
Ball end mounted on top: maximum turn is 25.5 deg(inside tire) and 14 deg(outside tire)
Ball end mounted bellow : max 24.5(inside), 15.5(outside).
In real condition, as the car leans hard (1 side of chasis hit the ground) the inside tire angle is increase about 2 deg and the outside is reduces about the same value.

As you can see the ackerman is angling so extremely.
I think this is playing a big part to resist the car to turns tighter, coz the tire slip angle amount is too big to overcome.

Please share your thought....
