Not trying to start any chassis debate!

My question is for Bump chassis users.

Did the Bump chassis help your truck fly straighter? Mine seems to nose dive a bunch. I have checked all the standard stuff. There is no binding, no drag brake, etc. Wanting to get the Bump if it helps the nose diving issue.

No. But nose diving is more driving than anything else. Get off the throttle as you go up the face of the jump.

Do you use the Bump chassis still?

When I went from stock chassis to the Bump chassis, it did help a little. Using a high flow body like the Proline flotek with plenty of holes cut out helped a bunch on big jumps where you get a lot of air. Add these two things to driving style, no drag brake, a smooth drivetrain, dialed suspension, and better front to rear weight balance, and nose diving shouldn't be much of an issue.

Nope. If youre hammer down the rear suspension will be compressed and ass end will kick over and nose down off the lip of the jump.

I would have to respectfully disagree, if the rear suspension is being compressed so much that its bottoming out and kicking over, it's possible than, that one is having suspension or ride height issues that could easily be adjusted. Also, any time as one leaves the face of a jump and gets of throttle, it will always nose down, or at the very least never nose up. Its almost the same effect as having the drag break on (as someone recently posted), or tapping the breaks as u leave the face of a jump. He is having nose down issues, staying on throttle can only help. I never recommended to "hammer" the throttle either, as that depends on the jump and situation. Regardless, no matter how hard one hammers the throttle, the suspension should not be bowing down so much as to may contact with the the dirt and chassis slap so hard, that the rear kicks over.

What would you suggest I try to check?
